What happened:
October started, sadly, with a funeral. Went to the theatre to see Operation Mincemeat, which was good fun; the actors were superb. Went to Rutland. Olly's dad came to stay, and we headed to see Fawlty Towers - The Play with him. That's about it for October!
Made bread and bagel bombs again at home (a repeat of September), and had lunches at Paradise Green and Wymondham Windmill, plus dinner at Ovation in Oakham. Finally got Get Baked delivered, too. In which I ordered the classic Bertha, the mint crisp Bert and a salted caramel brownie, haha!
What I watched:
Finished watching House of Guinness, season 8 of Somebody Feed Phil and continued watching season 5 of Slow Horses. Rewatched seasons 12-15 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, then watched seasons 16 and 17, plus I watched seasons 1-2 of The Baby-Sitters Club. Films watched: The Electric State, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy and Nonnas.
What I read:
In October I read 11 books. I gave five stars to Recursion by Blake Crouch, and four stars to Win by Harlan Coben, The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa, Writers & Lovers by Lily King and Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson. x
