What happened:
Went to the theatre to see Mean Girls, which was good fun. Survived work for the first two weeks of April until it was time to have (near enough) three weeks off for Easter and to celebrate my birthday!
When we got back, I headed pretty much immediately back on a plane as I had another working week in Philadelphia. Yes, again - I've been three times in the past six months - which messed up my body clock. When I was back we took it easy, but did tick off Moco, London's newest modern art museum, and returned to Lightroom for VOGUE: Walking the Runway.
What I ate:
In London: Fatt Pundit, Omm (tasty Lebanese near Barnes Bridge, their lunch set menu is superb value), a chocolatey birthday cake from Cutter & Squidge and lots of curry at Tamila. I'll cover Oman in those blog posts, but in Philly I ate at El Vez, Chez Colette, Glory Beer Bar and Kitchen, IHOP, Fox & Son (lunch) and Down Home Diner (breakfast) at Reading Terminal Market, Kalaya, Wilder and Grandma's. Some repeats there!
What I watched:
Finished watching season 3 of The White Lotus, watched Palm Royale, season 2 of Severance, The Studio and started watching season 3 of Welcome to Wrexham.
Films:
What I read:
In April I read 9 books and gave Mickey 7 by Edward Ashton and Conclave by Robert Harris four stars. In May I read 18 books and gave four stars to We Solve Murders by Richard Osman, Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson and Taste: My Life Through Food by Stanley Tucci (audiobook).
How have you been? x
