Tower of London Superbloom

I wasn't going to blog separately about the Superbloom at the Tower of London as it ends on 18 September, which doesn't really give anyone much opportunity to see it, but in light of the death of Her Majesty The Queen, I wanted to share my visit.

The Superbloom at the Tower was planted to celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, earlier this year, you see. How amazing is it that we had seventy years of The Queen on the throne. (How strange it is now to have a King.) 

We originally had tickets to go the opening weekend, aka the weekend of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but the flowers had their own agenda and hadn't really bloomed! So here's what the moat looked like on a sweltering Sunday in July instead, which is when we rearranged our tickets for:
