TMTW: June 2022

What happened:
June started with a long weekend because it was the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - woohoo! Didn't go to our street party, but did have some yum dinners out, went to the cinema, and saw Moulin Rouge on the West End. Which was awesome. So, so awesome.

We had guests stay over, celebrated our anniversary, celebrated a 100th birthday(!), and continued to enjoy the house and garden. The garden especially as we finally had quite a bit of sunshine, which was lovely. And that was about it for June.

What I ate:
Lovely meals out at The Barbary Next Door (so yum), Lina Stores, Flat Iron and No. 97. (Didn't get to Six by Nico though because of the train strikes.) And we also had El Pastor's delicious short rib taco party at home with lots of sides. Definitely a reduction now in the amount of restaurant kits we have at home!

What I watched:
TV-wise: Finished Obi-Wan Kenobi, watched the new season of Somebody Feed Phil (love it), season 1-3 of Derry Girls, and started watching WeCrashed

Films watched: Top Gun, Senior Year (dire; stopped watching it), Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Men in Black and Men in Black II. At the cinema: Top Gun Maverick.

What I read:
In June I read 11 books. Just Beach House Summer by Sarah Morgan was a 4* read for me this month.

How was your month? x
